It was a delight to work in 2019 with a returning client on her Geelong Renovation.
Our most recent Highton project saw us take a much discussed ‘dream’ with our client and turn it into a reality. This project was a design and build project with careful collaboration between our client, BKD Design and LB Building over a 2 year period.
The scope of this project was the addition of a kitchen, lounge and laundry that overlooks a new pool and outdoor entertaining area, onto an existing 1960’s family home.
The highlight of the living room is the Victorian Ash exposed King Post trusses adorning the sunken lounge. The trusses were custom made by Luke and the team on site and were a labour of love – the opportunity to handcraft using traditional carpentry methods is never passed up !
The lounge opens via bifold doors to the new swimming pool and outdoor area (under construction at time of photos).
With our client’s passion for entertaining she opted for a kitchen that boasts a streamlined oven, steam oven and deluxe warming draw and the addition of a hidden butler’s pantry all set off by subway tiles in ‘Devonshire Blue Jeans’. The bespoke cabinetry was handcrafted by Leopold Kitchens in a modern classic design and finished in ‘Triple Thorndon Cream’ using the Resene range.
We thank our client and her family for providing LB Building the opportunity to work on their project and wish them many years of happiness in their new space. For further photos of this project view the gallery.
